Hey good people! Ralph here. It’s been a little while since my last post. I’ve been pretty busy training clients, promoting my Perennial Boxing + Fitness business, studying for some certifications and working on some branding stuff. I find it equally challenging and exciting to be an entrepreneur because everything falls on you. I’m no stranger to hard work and I’ve always believed that if I set my mind on something, I can accomplished anything. That’s the part that keeps me inspired and persistent. So without further due, I’m happy to be able to finally share some exciting news with you all.

One of my clients recently mentioned to me that in their own training, they find themselves feeling uninspired in their bag training. I made a few suggestions, but the overall, key point is that to improve as a boxer, it requires a lot of dedication, hard work, patience and repetition.

Happy New Year everyone and welcome back to my blog! I hope you all are in the best of health, especially dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected us on so many levels. 2020 is finally over. The sad thing is that there are many people out there who feel that their luck will substantially increased because it’s a new year. In all honesty, I never truly believed in luck; however, I strongly believe in karma and fortune. If you put positive energy out in the world, be respectful and empathetic towards people as much as possible, eventually, that energy will find it’s way back to in in some shape or form.

Peace and blessings good people! Ralph here. As we wind down towards the end of 2020 and just imagining how the COVID-19 pandemic affected so many of us, I hope this post finds you in the best of health. A few months ago, I was featured in a motivational fitness video series, hosted by professional athlete and good friend, Guy Jack Levy. Hello all! Ralph “The Perennial Aesthete” is here. I hope everyone is doing well—spiritually, mentally and physically. I wanted to touch upon New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s recent announcement on gym openings in New York City. I know many of my fellow New Yorkers are anxious to get back in the gym. Do I miss being there? You bet! However, I honestly have mixed feelings about it. The time of the COVID-19 pandemic has truly exposed the paradox of our world. The empathy and compassion of strangers and communities efforts and dedication for the most vulnerable. For the other side, the shameless greed of corporations that has no filter.

Hey peeps! Your favorite New York City blogger, Ralph Gilmore, is back at it. I took a little blogging hiatus due to being busy working on a few projects, while making sure to stay healthy and cool-headed in these strange times. Just like many of you, I’ve been adjusting to new routines and a lot of unknowns due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It’s much easier to focus on the negatives and the things that can go wrong, rather than focusing on the positives, no matter how dire the circumstances may be. I choose to focus on my passions, my creativity, my evolving skills and anything that brings joy to my life. My hope is that I always continue to remain in a place of joy and inspiration, while making a positive impact on as many people’s lives as possible.
